More Than Words: Living a Faith That Obeys

When confronted with the end of their loved one’s life, the caregiver may wonder what everything in this world means. The book of Ecclesiastes explores the frustrations and mysteries of life. Wealth, pleasure, wisdom, work– none of them ultimately satisfy the deepest needs of the human heart. Someone recently asked me an honest question about my grief over losing my daughter to heart disease. She asked if I could go back and were I to have a choice about whether or not to be a mom to a child with special needs, would I choose to bypass all the heartache?
